Even at an early age, baby Gronckles mirror their adult counterparts with their robust bodies and relatively tiny wings.
Baby Gronckles make up for their small wing size with tremendous flapping velocity, like hummingbirds. As such, Gronckles young and old are the only dragons that can fly backwards or side to side like a helicopter. Like most children, baby Gronckles need lots of naps and have occasionally been observed to fall asleep mid-flight. And while they may seem cranky if awakened too early, baby Gronckles’ barks are far worse than their bites. Although they bellow and open their mouths to display their growing tusks as they are teething, baby Gronckles seldom attack one another.
